History
Leader Fishing was incorporated in 1979 and has a heritage that includes four generations of fishing families. The company currently operates a commercial fishing fleet primarily along the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
Operations
With our fleet of 9 vessels, Leader Fishing Ltd., efforts are directed to the shrimp, blackcod, (trawl) groundfish, salmon, herring, squid, tuna, halibut, pilchards and hake fisheries.
Our modern fleet give us access to ample fish–quality controlled from catch to dock. Fish are chilled on board to near 0˚ C in a mix of ice and RSW (refrigerated sea water) ensuring that all our products are fresh and high quality. Our factory trawler, Viking Enterprise, delivers Frozen At Sea (FAS) superb quality.
